Steadying after landing
How long the horizontal force under each foot takes to settle after touch-down.
Same in all three clean jumps.

Upload a recording from the force plates you already use. Movetrics Cloud tells you what changed, why, and how far to trust it, in plain words for coaches, physios and researchers.
Who is looking?
Countermovement jump · Alex (sample athlete) · today
31.6 cm. Higher than their usual.
2.0 cm above their usual 29.6 cm, more than twice their normal spread.
Counted: attempts 1, 2 and 3, all clean.
Read by AIAlex jumped higher than usual and left the ground sooner, so the extra height came from a quicker push, not a deeper dip.
Tested with exports from these systems’ software. A layout Movetrics hasn’t seen is asked about once, then remembered. Names belong to their owners. Download a sample file
How it works
No scripts, no spreadsheets, nothing to install. Open a browser, drop in a recording and read the answer.
Any CSV, Excel or C3D export. When a layout is new, Movetrics asks once, such as which plate was under the left foot, and remembers it for every recording after.
Each jump gets its own checks: still before the dip, a clean take-off, a full landing. A doubtful attempt shows its reason on the curve, and one tap keeps it or leaves it out. Nothing is ever deleted.
The first line says what changed against this athlete’s own usual, and the next says how sure it is. The curve, each attempt and the method sit underneath for whoever wants them.
Beyond jump height
Jump tests usually stop at the up-and-down force. When two plates also record horizontal force, every jump’s first page adds two things you can’t see from the side: how long each foot takes to steady after landing, and how hard each foot pushes horizontally on the way up.

Same in all three clean jumps.
How hard each foot also pushed horizontally on the way up, averaged from the start of the push to take-off. Its size, not its direction.
From the counted jump.
These need two plates that record horizontal force. With vertical force alone, every jump, balance and strength result is still there.
Testing days
Start a session, test the squad and watch the results arrive on one screen. Movetrics groups who needs a look, who still needs a clean jump and who hasn’t been tested yet, each with the reason in one sentence.
Two athletes need a look. One still needs a clean jump.

Free recordings
Record warm-up, jumps, squats and balance in one go. Movetrics finds where the movement changes, names each part and says when it isn’t sure. Tap Right or Change, then save the jumps as tests of their own.

What it measures
Every test opens on the number that matters for it, with the rest a tap away.
Left and right for two-plate jumps, asked once per device and swapped in one tap.
AI, carefully
Under each countermovement jump, a few sentences say what stands out and point at the evidence. More tests follow. Every number in them comes from the measurement, never from the model, and it never gives a health verdict.
Read by AIAlex jumped higher than usual and left the ground sooner, so the extra height came from a quicker push, not a deeper dip. Landing looked as usual.
Your data
Everything you put in can come out again, in formats other tools read.
Download exactly what you uploaded at any time, next to clean CSV and C3D versions.
PDF reports for one recording or the whole squad, from templates you shape.
A read-only API with personal access keys. Pull recordings, raw samples and results into Excel, Python or R.
Ask questions about your own data in the AI app you already use, through a read-only connection.
Invite an athlete or a parent to their own results and nothing else.
Send a link to a single recording without opening the rest of your workspace.
Trust
Data is stored in Ireland, the app runs in the Netherlands, and encrypted backups are made every night inside the EU.
Every comparison is with the athlete’s own history, so a number never hides behind a population average.
Movetrics is not a medical device. It doesn’t diagnose, predict injury or clear anyone to return to sport.
Each number carries how it was measured and which engine version made it, so it can be checked and cited.
Very likely. If your software exports CSV, TSV, Excel or C3D, Movetrics can read it: one plate or two, vertical force only or all six axes. When a file layout is new, it asks once and remembers. Tell us your system when you apply and we’ll check an export with you.
No. Movetrics Cloud works with the force plates you already have. If you use a Movetrics FDT, you can also record straight into Chrome.
Nothing while the beta runs. Everything you upload stays yours and can be exported at any time.
Only the people you invite to your workspace, in the role you give them. Athletes or parents you invite see their own results and nothing else.
No. Movetrics describes movement for coaching, rehabilitation teams, teaching and research. It doesn’t diagnose, predict injury or clear anyone to return to sport. Please only upload recordings you’re allowed to use.
It’s off until a workspace owner switches it on. Reads use Anthropic’s Claude models, which process the request in the US. Athletes’ names are replaced with codes first, every number comes from Movetrics’ own measurement, and your recordings aren’t used to train AI models.

Private beta · small groups
Movetrics Cloud is free while the beta runs. We open places in small groups and set up each workspace with you, starting with teams, clinics and labs that already own force plates.
Name, email and what you do. No file needed.
